Gender Affirming Surgery Decisions - Highlighting Patient, Parent, and Surgeon Perspectives

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Making decisions about gender affirming surgery can feel exciting, overwhelming, scary and a multitude of other emotions all at the same time. In this session we’ll hear from a patient who had  top surgery, a parent who has supported their child through surgery and surgeon Dr. Facque from The Gender Confirmation Center. We will touch on questions such as…How do you know surgery is the right decision? How as a parent/caregiver can I best support my child? What is recovery like? How do I prepare myself and my child? And so much more. Audience questions are encouraged!
