Our Closing Keynote will feature Dr. Ximena Lopez sharing her experiences as a pediatric endocrinologist working with trans youth Texas. She will be leading a panel of Texas parents of Trans kids. They will be reflecting on what their experience has been like living in a State that is so openly opposing gender-affirming care and what it's been like for doctors as well as parents and families. They will discuss how they all maintain their focus and positivity in this challenging context. Our Closing Keynote speakers will give Conference attendees an inspiring sense of possibility in the face of challenges.

Dr. Ximena Lopez is a pediatric endocrinologist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
