Pink & Blue is a short film directed by AfroFil Am Non-Binary Queer filmmaker Carmen LoBue (they/them) and Written & Produced by 1st Gen Nigerian Trans Genderqueer lead actor Kaydx (they/he/ẹmi), about the joys and sorrows of first-time parenting for a Trans couple of color. In the film, After a surprise first-time pregnancy, a Trans couple of color wrestles with how the new baby will affect their relationship and how to raise their child in a binary world. In this workshop we will watch the film and create an open conversation around the themes of the fim: gender as construct, community, living in a gendered society and more.
